Vanguard Steel Acoustic Doors are specifically designed to reduce sound transmission and create controlled acoustic environments. These doors are tested and certified to meet various STC (Sound Transmission Class) and dB (decibel) ratings, ensuring excellent noise insulation for specialized applications. Ideal for use in spaces such as shopping malls, recording studios, educational institutions, hospitals, movie theatres, and other locations where soundproofing is critical.

Steel Frames
  • Constructed from high-quality cold rolled steel (ASTM A366) or hot-dip galvanized steel (ASTM A653).
  • Available thicknesses:
    - 1.6 mm (14 gauge)
    - 2.0 mm (12 gauge)
  • Precision-formed bends with true sharp radius for superior strength and aesthetics.
Steel Shutters
  • 46 mm up to 54mm thick, full flush door leaf construction.
  • Core filled with high-density Rockwool for optimal acoustic performance
  • Conforms to SDI-111A-EDGE standards.
  • Manufactured using ASTM A366 cold rolled steel or ASTM A526 galvanized steel.
  • Vertical edges interlocked and reinforced with 1.6 mm (14 ga.) end channels at top and bottom.
  • STC/dB rated acoustic seals used, imported as per requirement.
  • Hardware reinforcements in line with ANSI, SDI, and NFPA standards.
  • Available with acoustic vision panels using sound-rated glass.
  • Size availability:
    - Single doors up to 1200mm (Width) x 2400mm (Height)
    - Double doors up to 2400mm (Width) x 2400mm (Height)
    - Oversized doors available with In-House certification. (Subjected to availability of Acoustic Seals)

  • Supplied to BS standards; ANSI-compliant options available upon request.
  • Concealed factory-cut provisions for hardware on frames and shutters.
