Vanguard Steel Fire Rated Doors are purpose-built for fire egress areas within buildings, ensuring compliance with building regulations and fire safety codes. These doors play a critical role in containing fire and smoke, thereby providing a safe escape path for occupants and a secure entry point for firefighters and emergency personnel. Fire ratings are available in minute-based classifications, allowing clients to select doors that meet their specific regulatory and safety needs.

Steel Frames
  • Constructed from commercial-quality cold rolled steel (ASTM A366) or hot-dip galvanized steel (ASTM A653).
  • Thickness options:
    - 1.6 mm (14 gauge)
    - 2.0 mm (12 gauge)
  • All bends are precision-formed with a true sharp radius for structural integrity.
Steel Shutters
  • 46 mm (1¾") thick, full flush construction compliant with SDI-111A-EDGE standards.
  • Manufactured using cold rolled steel (ASTM A366) or galvanized steel (ASTM A526).
  • Available in 1.2 mm (16 ga.) or 1.6 mm (14 ga.) thickness.
  • Vertical edges interlocked with 1.6 mm (14 ga.) deep end channels at top and bottom.
  • Hardware reinforcement as per ANSI, SDI and NFPA standards.
  • Conforms to BIS 3614 (PART 2) 2021 equivalent to BS476 (PART 20 & 22) Tested and Certified to 120mins Fire Rating (CBRI, Roorkee).
  • Optional features: Vision panels, Thresholds, Auto drop seals, Biometric Access Control System.
  • Size availability:
    - Single doors up to 1200mm (Width) x 2400mm (Height) - Double doors up to 2400mm (Width) x 2400mm (Height) - Larger sizes available with oversize FRC (Fire Rated in Construction) Only.
Ironmongery
  • Supplied as per BS standards; ANSI options available upon request.
  • Pre-cut concealed provisions in frames and shutters.
